“Hang in There, Honey”

Every morning when our grevilleas burst into bloom, I can hear the Blue-faced Honeyeaters arguing away with the native Noisy Miners. There’s certainly no shortage of chatter in our garden!

I love watching these beautiful birds go about their daily business, even when it seems like they can’t quite agree on who gets the best spot at the flower buffet.

I wanted to capture a little of that cheeky personality in this painting — a colourful reminder that even in the middle of all the noise, sometimes you just have to hang in there, honey!
